I am passionate about the role health and fitness plays in physical and mental wellbeing. I strongly believe exercise is a great way to boost one’s mood and enhance self-confidence, and I therefore strive to help people achieve their health and fitness goals.
As a Physiotherapist I can appreciate the detrimental effects injury can have on physical and mental wellbeing and therefore endeavour to help people rehabilitate from this in a timely manner. I am particularly interested in the rehabilitation of musculoskeletal conditions whether through age related causes, or more acute causes through personal injury or sport.
I feel Physiotherapy and Personal Training complement each other very well. Applying a knowledge of injury treatment and rehabilitation, with a goal orientated focus of attaining fitness goals and further injury prevention, through approaches such as strength and conditioning. Having previously studied Psychology I believe in a holistic approach, addressing the concerns of the body and mind to achieve goals most effectively.
