What is Life Coaching?
Sometimes in life we need an independent person to help bring about the changes we want at work, in our careers, business or personal life. Coaching takes a practical and action orientated approach giving you resources to manage your challenges. Using communication skills we understand what is holding you back, we explore tools to help you manage your fears and remove obstacles and we develop a plan to get you to your desired goal. A coach is a thinking partner that can help keep you on track to achieve the goals you desire.
What can I expect from a coaching session?
As your coach I create a safe and confidential environment either in person or virtually. The hour session starts with you setting the agenda and confirming what you want to take away from the session. I will then begin to ask you questions; I will listen for key things you say, the words you use and your energy. This provides insight in terms of what may be holding you back and what would be valuable to explore in more detail. Together we consider options and at the end of the session you will reflect on what you found useful, what actions you are going to take and how you want me to follow up with you.
How do I know if it’s right for me?
It's important that a client feels comfortable with me as you are sharing personal and confidential information and will need to feel you can speak freely and openly about your feelings. Ahead of making any commitment we will schedule an introductory session which will provide an opportunity for me to understand your challenges and what you are looking to achieve, to confirm if coaching can help and to give a recommendation on the right package for you. Most importantly though it gives you the opportunity to determine if you feel comfortable working with me and if you don’t that’s ok!
What types of problems can coaching help with?
Coaching can assist you in managing a whole range of issues from personal challenges through to work and career. During your introductory call, I will advise you if coaching is going to be effective for you. Typical client issues include but are not limited to: career management, work or personal relationship, managing fear, feeling overwhelmed, people management challenges, time management, returning to work, confidence issues.
How do I book a session?

How many sessions will I need?
This will depend on your goals and in our introductory call I will make a recommendation.
Do you have a cancellation or absence fee policy?
Yes, I require 48 hours’ notice to cancel your appointment otherwise you will be charged the full amount. This also includes failing to attend any planned appointments. From time to time we may need to rearrange your appointment, should this occur, we will reschedule at a mutual convenient time.
